Davido promises to free Naira Marley after EFCC arrest

After EFCC arrested Nigerian musician, Naira Marley, real name Afeez Fashola on Thursday for questioning, OBO and DMW boss Davido has come out to say that the release of the singer is guaranteed.

Naira Marley’s arrest might be in connection with his recently released single featuring Zlatan Ibile”Am I A Yahoo Boy”. The visual dropped on Thursday and coincidentally he was arrested on same day.

The ”Issa Goal” crooner has been dishing out social media posts in support of internet fraud popularly known as ”Yahoo” and the lyrics of his song also promotes the act.

During a recent Instagram live session, Marley urged Nigerians to pray for internet fraudsters (Yahoo boys) stating that they are the reason money circulates to the common man.

He said: “All you guys, all the money in your pockets, all the money you spend, you think it’s the government that is making the money go round?”

Some Nigerians are in support of ”Yahoo” while others like comedian Ali Baba and Nigerian rapper Ruggedman have greatly condemned this latest happenings.
