Nigerians have taken to Aisha Buhari’s Twitter space to give their opinion on the visit of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s wife, Dame Patience Jonathan, to the State House.
PM News had reported that the wife of President Buhari, Aisha, hosted the ex-president’s wife at the State House on Monday.
According to Aisha Buhari, their meeting enabled her to learn from her experience and listened to her perspectives on issues affecting women and children in society.
“We discussed my efforts with regards to the greater involvement of women in politics & participation of women at lower level of governance.
“We also discussed girl child education and her pet project “women for change”
“I got to hear her experience during her tenure and listened to her perspectives on issues affecting women and children in the society,” Aisha Buhari stated
Reacting to the statement, a twitter user said: “Her (Dame Patience) experience is not worth remembering when she called my then future president Almajiri. I beg don’t mind her jare, anyway, there is God.”
Another wrote: “The only thing you can learn from her is how to make money you can’t account for as the wife of the president. There are pasts you don’t bring to the future Your Excellency, Aisha M. Buhari. “I know say nobody pass”, but there are people you don’t learn from….nothing to learn from.”
“Her experience will help a lot,” Stephen wrote.
Charles Abayomi stated that “One noticeable thing abt her(Dame Patience) is her weight.i think she has gained a lot. I wish her all the best!”
