Buhari: In No show in Bayelsa today

President Muhammadu Buhari will be a no-show today in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State Capital, where he is billed to commission the seven-storey Nigerian Local Content building, apart from attending the Supreme Court scuppered inauguration of David Lyon of the APC as governor of the state.

P.M.News learnt that the commissioning has been postponed indefinitely, while officials are already leaving the state capital.

Our Correspondent in Yenagoa reported that the advance party from Abuja had booked several hotels in anticipation of his visit to Commission the building, owned by the agency under the Ministry of Petroleum Resources.

Buhari’s change of plan is obviously due to the sacking of David Lyon, Governor-Elect of All Progressives Congress,APC by the Supreme Court in a stunning judgement on Thursday.

President Buhari was also scheduled to witness the inauguration of an APC government after more than 20 years of PDP administration, since 1999.

The state capital had visible presence of the military and banners welcoming the President for the Commissioning of the local Content building.
