Manchester United forward, Odion Ighalo, could have an extra special weekend as he faces his former club, Watford.

The Nigerian striker is set to make his first appearance at Old Trafford since joining the club from China in January.

Ighalo scored 16 goals in 55 Premier League appearances for Watford between 2015-2017 but left them three years ago to pursue a career in the Chinese Super League.

The boyhood United fan would not only get to play on the hallowed turf as a United player on Sunday, but he could equal a goal record held by Frank Lampard too.

This weekend he could become the first player to score on their first home Premier League appearance for a club, having previously played for the opponents in the competition, since Frank Lampard did so for Man City against Chelsea in September 2014.
