Deontay Wilder missed his post-fight press conference amid reports he was rushed to the hospital after being battered by Tyson Fury in their heavyweight title rematch.

There are also fears that Wilder’s eardrum has been burst, as blood was seen coming out of his ear after four rounds of Sunday morning’s mega Las Vegas contest.

Each break in the fight saw Wilder’s camp tend to the wound as concerns he was battling on while concussed grew.

And with Fury in total control, his corner threw in the towel during round seven.

Although Wilder responded furiously to his camp’s decision.

However, ESPN reporter Dan Rafael has reported that Wilder did not leave for a hospital during the conference and instead remained in his dressing room to provide the required urine sample to anti-doping authorities.

Along with the suspected burst eardrum, the 34-year-old also carried a split lip that cut early on in the WBC title clash.

British viewers waking up in the early hours of Sunday morning were rewarded with an enthralling contest that Fury dominated.

As the Gypsy King laid into his rival, Wilder hit the canvas a number of times due to both pushdowns and by simply tripping over.
