The Osun chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has elected new leaders to pilot its affairs with Prophet Isaiah Adelowokan emerging as new Chairman.

This information was released to newsmen in Osogbo on Saturday by the new state PFN Director of Media, Bishop Seun Adeoye.

According to Adeoye, the new chairman would be taking over the association’s mantle of leadership from Rev. Olasunmbo Ige, who had piloted its affairs for eight years.

He said Adelowokan was named and announced the new chairman of PFN on Thursday by a 14 members Advisory Board of the state PFN, in a meeting held at Igbajo, Boluwaduro Local Government of Osun.

He said the outgoing chairman, Ige, who spoke after the election, urged all members of PFN across the state to give the new leadership all the support needed for their assignment.

He quoted Ige, whose administration completed the state PFN Secretariat, as calling on the new leaders to be focused and ensure that the association remained a solid united group among the Christian fold in the state.

Also, Adelowokan in his acceptance speech promised to uphold full tenets of Christian doctrines and that the state PFN would not relent in playing its social responsibility roles.

Adeoye said those elected to serve as the state PFN executives include: Rev. John Adeleke (Deputy Chairman), Prophet Kunle Olaniyan (State Secretary), Rev. Rasaq Akinwale (State Treasurer) while Prophetess Victoria Adelowokan would serve as coordinator of the women wing.

He said the National President of PFN, Rev. Felix Omobude, his deputy from the South, Bishop Wale Oke and the South-West National Vice President, Bishop Reuben Olu-Oke and the Osun Governor, Gboyega Oyetola are expected at the inauguration of the new executives on Wednesday, March 18.
