Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi has appealed to citizens of Osun state especially Iwo indigenes to wash their hands and keep their family safe owing to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

Oluwas made this callĀ on his Instagram page on Thursday, 19th March, 2020.

In the video, the suspended monarch said that Iwo indigenes who are muslims should not attend Jumat on Friday and Christians should abstain from churches on Sunday.

Oba Akanbi also advised guests from overseas to quarantined themselves and most importantly people should stay away from them for now.

He added that there would be no room for nonessential visitors in the palace and prayed that God would heal the land.
