Isabelle Matuidi wife of Juventus forward Blaise Matuidi, has taken to her Instagram page to give a reassuring message about her husband’s health after he tested positive to coronavirus.
In her post on Wednesday, she maintained that Matuidi was “a healthy carrier” and that he was “positive without having symptoms”.
The post read, “We received my husband’s test result. If we hadn’t taken the test, we wouldn’t have known. […] You can be a healthy carrier, like my husband. He is positive without having symptoms.”
She also said her family has taken the self-isolation step.
Matuidi became the latest player to test positive to the virus on Tuesday and the France World Cup winner has shown no symptoms yet.
