The United States of America’s President, Donald Trump has again called for the use of ‘chloroquine and another antibiotic to be approved for use against the novel coronavirus.

Trump tweeted on Saturday, urging for the immediate use of the drugs.

He wrote; “HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE & AZITHROMYCIN (an antibiotic), taken together, have a real chance to be one of the biggest game-changers in the history of medicine. Be put in use IMMEDIATELY.”

“What do we have to lose?” he said at a news conference at the White House later.

However, critics warned that using a drug for a new purpose is never without risk.
