The UK coronavirus death toll on Saturday jumped to 1,019 after 260 people died in the last 24 hours.

According to reports, there are currently 17,089 in Britain who have tested positive for Covid-19.
In England, 168 deaths were recorded, along with eight deaths in Scotland, six deaths in Wales and three deaths in Northern Ireland.
