British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been discharged from hospital after overcoming a deadly battle with coronavirus.

Newspapers in UK said Johnson was discharged from St Thomas Hospital today.

He was admitted on Sunday, on the same day Queen Elizabeth made a broadcast on the pandemic.

‘The PM has been discharged from hospital to continue his recovery, at Chequers”, said a 10 Downing Street spokesman.

‘On the advice of his medical team, the PM will not be immediately returning to work.

‘He wishes to thank everybody at St Thomas’ for the brilliant care he has received.
