Former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has sent message to Muslims as the 2020 Ramadan kicks off.

Saraki said as Muslims begin the Ramadan, they should use the opportunity to pray for the nation at this difficult period of Coronavirus.

“As we begin the Holy Month of Ramadan in perhaps some of the most difficult circumstances in recent memory, I appeal to all Muslims to pray for our country, and indeed the whole world, to emerge from the socio-economic crises caused by #COVID19 as a kinder, stronger, more united world committed to upholding the values of peace and harmony.

“I appeal to all Muslims to demonstrate the spirit of brotherhood during Ramadan by caring for the less privileged among us.

“I also appeal to everyone to adhere to the measures put in place by the authorities to help curb the spread of the virus,” he said.
