Brunei has reported no new cases of COVID-19, marking the eighth day in a row without new cases since April 19.

According to Brunei’s Ministry of Health, the national tally of coronavirus cases stands at 138 with 124 recoveries.

One more recovery was recorded on Sunday, bringing the number of active cases still being treated at the National Isolation Center to 13.

Two patients in critical condition and require Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and respiratory assistance, while the rest are in a stable condition.

There has been one death resulting from the COVID-19 in Brunei.

Some 13,149 laboratory tests for COVID-19 have been conducted.
