Bauchi State said it has recorded 11 new COVID-19 cases. This brings confirmed cases in the state to 25, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.

This brings confirmed cases in the state to 25, the Ministry of Health said on Tuesday.

It was the first time that more than three cases would be recorded by the state in a day, since it confirmed its index case on 24 March.

Of the 25 confirmed cases, six have recovered and discharged.

There are now 19 active cases in the state.

On Monday, when the NCDC provided its last late night update, Bauchi had 14 confirmed cases.
