Ogun Police gets 204 new constables

Ogun state police command has gotten 204 newly passed out recruit constables to resume duty at the police headquarters, Eleweran Abeokuta.

Receiving the new police entrants, the Commissioner of Police, CP Kenneth Ebrimson admonished them to be good ambassadors of the force whenever they are carrying out their duty as police officers.

He reminded them that every police officer is a public relation officer because their action and inaction will be viewed as that of the force in general

He also warned them to desist from all forms of corruption and extortion as anyone found wanting in that regard will be shown the way out of the force.

The constables have since been posted to various police divisions in their respective Local government areas as directed by the Inspector General of Police in the spirit of community policing.
