Former President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan has commiserated with the Governor of Adamawa State. Alhaji Ahmadu Fintiri over the death of his mother, Hajiya Fatimah Badawi.
In a condolence message to the Governor, the former President lamented the passing on of the matriarch, describing her as a pillar of support to her community.
The condolence message which the former President personally signed said: “I commiserate with you, your family, the Government and people of Adamawa State on the demise of your beloved mother, Hajiya Fatimah Badami who died on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.
“Her death is a great loss to your family and the entire State as she was a pillar of support to you and her community.
“Hajiya will be greatly missed for she was an inspiration to so many members of our society, particularly the women and youth. She was a disciplinarian, who was devoted in service to God and humanity. I pray for God’s guidance and strength for you and your family during this moment of grief.”
