Akinyelure bags second term as NNPC board member, Magnus Abe also in

Chief Pius Akinyelure, has returned to the board of NNPC for a second term.

His re-appointment was announced by President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday.

Akinyelure, former executive director Mobil Nigeria was first appointed into the board in 2016.

He was also pioneer vice chairman of the All Progressives Congress from 2014-2018.

He represented Nigeria’s South West and is now back as South West voice.

Also on the new board, is Senator Magnus Abe from Rivers State.

He will represent South South region on the board.

Others are Mohammed Lawal (North West), Tajudeen Umar (North East), Adamu Mahmood Attah (North Central), Dr Stephen Dike (South East).

The new board will also be in place for three years.
