Pappy Thrill nominated for African Television Music Video Award

South African-based fusion artist, Pappy Thrill has secured a nomination at the African Movie Festival slated for October 17th 2020 Live in Belgium.

The lion of the Western Cape was nominated in the category for African Television Music Video Award for the music video “True Talk” featuring Samurai.

” I was nominated to receive the at the African Movie Festival in October 17th 2020 Live in Belgium, but due to the COVID-19 regulations, it was postponed, and I couldn’t attend,” Thrill stated.

This is not the first time Thrill is getting recognition for his works. In 2014, he was also nominated at the Top Naija Music Awards as The Best International Act under the Hip Hop category in Nigeria.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Thrill spent most of his younger years attending school, playing football for Pepsi Academy. He left football and tried Taekwondo for two years before he finally decided to do music.

Since he debuted, Thrill sold 8000 copies of his album from his car boot and it has solidified his presence among those to watch.
