Police drug squad in Mauritius on Monday arrested a 46-year-old Frenchman with 39 cannabis seeds in his luggage at the island’s international airport.
Disc-jockey by profession, the Frenchman arrived in Mauritius on a flight from the near-by La Reunion island.
Police said the suspect was arrested and placed in quarantine.
He will be taken to court on an interim charge of possession of cannabis.
