Juventus squeeze through to Champions League football next season after defeating Bologna 4-1 on final day, with Napoli drawing at home with Verona.

Juventus needed to win and hoped that Napoli lose or draw, but their wish was granted with Napoli fumbling at home.

Juventus without Cristiano Ronaldo knowing the urgency of the match, opened scoring on six minutes through Federico Chiesa, who was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifled the ball into the middle of the net.

Paulo Dybala made it 2-0 for Juventus on 29 minutes after putting the ball on the head of Alvaro Morata, who has the easy task to score into an empty net.

It was 3-0 for Juventus on 45 minutes as Adrien Rabiot was set free in the area by Dejan Kulusevski and he made no mistake with a lovely finish into the bottom left.

Juventus were 4-0 up on 47 minutes. After receiving a pass, Morata unleashed a quick low drive into the middle of the net and past the goalkeeper.

The homers reduced the tally to 1-4 on 85 minutes.
