The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported 35 new cases of COVID-19 on 22 May, raising the active cases to 7,376.
The 35 new cases were logged in six states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Lagos recorded nine cases, Kano 8, Yobe 7, Rivers 4, Akwa Ibom 3, FCT 2 and Katsina 1 case.
Till date, Nigeria has recorded 165,979 confirmed cases, 156,468 discharged and 2,067 deaths.
According to the NCDC, out of the 7,376 active cases, Nasarawa leads with 1,997.
Lagos has 1,372 Ondo 1,139, while Delta has 812 cases.
Enugu has 411 and Benue 575.
