The national flag and other flags at the Presidential Villa in Abuja are currently flying at half-mast to honour Chief of Army Staff, Lt General Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 others who died in the Kaduna plane crash.
This was in line with a directive issued by President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday.
The directive was announced on Sunday by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha.
The gesture would last for three days beginning from Monday, May 24, 2021, till Wednesday.
The president also approved Monday, May 24, 2021, as a work-free day for members of the Armed Forces.
