Peter Obi, former governor of Anambra State and Valentine Ozigbo, purported flagbearer of the PDP, in the coming Anambra governorship poll has called on stakeholders in the party to unite for victory in the coming November 6 election.

Both members spoke in Awka, during a reconciliation meeting of the party.

Ozigbo summoned the meeting to reunite members of the party after the rancour emanating from the primary election.

After the primary election, Valentine Ozigbo and Ugochukwu Uba emerged as the flagbearer of the PDP.

Former governor Obi while speaking called on everyone to come together and work for the victory of the party in the forthcoming governorship election.

He said the primary was over and should be done with.

Ozigbo on the other hand said he had made move in reconciling every member and aspirants but regretted that the litigations in the party had held it down.

He noted, however, that the party’s legal team was not relenting in evacuating the obstacles.

While speaking, Ozigbo said that he has received support from co-aspirants including Senator Uche Ekwunife, Hon Chris Azubogu, Dr Obiora Okonkwo, among others.

He described other parties from APGA to APC to YPP as counterfeit.

Ozigbo said his vision was to win the election as only his name is in the record of INEC and that all litigation would come to pass soon.
