Nollywood stars Femi Adebayo, Bimbo Oshin, and others have reacted to the death of Veteran actress, Racheal Oniga.

According to a member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Oniga died on Friday died at the age of 64.

The cause of death has not been disclosed, but colleagues, friends and fans have taken to social media to mourn her exit.

Oniga, who was from Eku, Delta began her acting career in 1993, shortly after her divorce.

Among her popular works are Out of Bounds, Owo Blow, The Wedding Party, 30 Days in Atlanta and Power of Sin.

Reacting to the news, Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo who played the role of a son to the actress in Owoblow said the news is surreal.

“This is so surreal! I posted a #throwback of my Owoblow on screen mother on Thursday only to lose her Friday. So sad!

“Rest in Peace…You will be missed Mama Rachael Oniga!”

Ejiro Okurame, an actress who is also a close relative to the deceased, posted emojis of heartbreak on her Instagram page alongside a caption that reads; “It is well 😥”

Another popular actress Bimbo Oshin wrote; “Heaven has just gained yet another beautiful soul 😭😭😭😭😭 Aunty Rachel! Haa! I am speechless. . . . Rest in peace Aunty🙏🙏🙏🙏 This life sha !”
