There is heavy gridlock on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway currently leaving hundreds of passengers trekking long distances.
Hundreds of commuters were left stranded on Saturday with several passengers trekking long distances to escape the gridlock on the route.
The gridlock is caused by a diesel loaded-truck which fell on the road around Guru Maraji.
PM New correspondent also observed that non-appearance of the Federal Road Safety Corps and other agencies has worsened the traffic situation in the axis, both inward and outward Lagos.
The gridlock has extended to some parts of Ibadan metropolis, such as Soka, New Garage, Challenge and Ojoo, with motorists and passengers having difficulty getting to their respective destinations.
Many motorists heading to Lagos are also having difficulty getting on the highway as at the time of filing this report.
