Spanish football league, LaLiga has paid tribute to Lionel Messi after he appeared at his final press conference as a Barcelona player on Sunday.
Messi played in the Spanish top flight for the last 21 years, with a record of 672 goals in 778 games for the Catalonia club.
The 34-year-old left as both the club’s record appearance maker and top goal scorer.
“We made history together. It’s been a matter of pride to see you become a legend. Thanks, Leo Messi,” LaLiga wrote on social media.

Messi is expected to undergo medicals with Paris Saint-Germain this week.
