Former Kaduna State lawmaker, Shehu Sani has said that no one is safe in the country from kidnappers.

He said this in reaction to the kidnap of Alhaji Sani Idris, the Niger State Commissioner of Information, who was abducted by bandits on Monday.

Sani condemned the kidnap of the commissioner in a post on his Facebook page and described the incident as tragic.

He said the kidnap of a commissioner attests to the fact that no one is safe.
