Michael Chukwuebuka Ngene, one of the latest Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes housemates has disclosed why he auditioned for the reality show.
Michael is one the four housemates who made surprise entry into introduced into the house during the eviction live show on Sunday.
The 28-year-old Michael after the Sunday live show disclosed that he auditioned for the show because he wanted to promote his brand as a singer and songwriter.
Michael disclosed after Boma gathered all housemates for the new housemates to introduce themselves to the house.
He went ahead to give a brief introduction about how he moved back to Nigeria after his father died.
“My father passed away in 2019 and things changed. Then I decided to move to Nigeria with my brother to figure my life out.
“We moved to Abuja because my mum stays there, then I saw the BBNaija audition and decided to audition in order to grow my brand.
“As a singer, I want to use this platform to blow my career,” he said.
Michael described himself as “a bad boy with magnetism” and “open-minded”.
The 28-year-old musician and aspiring filmmaker was born in Lagos, then moved to the United States of America as a teenager – but is currently based in Abuja.
Calling himself a “curious participant of life”, Ebuka likes to explore interests and people with an open mind and maintains he is dedicated to growing into the best version of himself.
He believes being the product of two different societies; America and Nigeria, has created an interesting perspective on life that many viewers will be able to relate to.
In his free time, you will find Ebuka writing, creating music, or pursuing his interests in cinematography.
