Mountain of Fire and Miracle ministries (MFM) has begun its annual 70 days prayer and fasting programme.
The prayer and fasting kicked off on Monday nationwide.
MFM’s General Overseer, Pastor Daniel Olukoya declared the praying and fasting, tagged “Prayer Battle.”
According to the church in an Instagram post, members of the ministry are to break their fast on Mondays and Fridays by 5pm and other days by 2pm.
“You are also to pray along with the Prayer Booklet. You can get the prayer booklet in any of our Bookshops or MFM Region/branches close to you,” the church said.
The church added that the programme has been vomited by the Holy Ghost to bring salvation, deliverance and healing of the spirit, soul and body to God’s people.
“While we await the return of the bridegroom, our Lord Jesus Christ, fasting exemplifies our attitude of spiritual hunger -the promise is that we will be satisfied.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled” (Matthew 5:6). As you thirst after righteousness, the Lord God will fill and give you appetite for holiness, in Jesus’ name,” the church said.
