Governor Makinde: his state led with 4 COVID-19 deaths on Saturday

Another eight Nigerians have died of COVID-19 complications, making 19 deaths in two days.

The NCDC gave the new deaths on Saturday night. On Friday, Nigeria reported 11 deaths.

NCDC also announced 665 cases of COVID-19 infections for the day.

Oyo led the grim statistics with four deaths. It now has a total death toll of 150.

Ondo increased its death toll to 70 with two new deaths, while Ogun and Delta, also reported. a death each.

Delta’s death toll is now 74 and Ogun 65.

Of the daily COVID-19 cases reported by NCDC, Lagos accounted for 365 of the total 665.

Anambra logged 68 cases, Oyo 63 and Akwa Ibom 48.

“Till date, 181962 cases have been confirmed, 166826 cases have been discharged and 2219 deaths have been recorded”, NCDC reported.
