Zamfara State Police Command has warned bandits operating in the state. It asked them to repent or face police wrath.
The warning came upon the resumption of the new police commissioner, Mr Ayuba Elkana in Gusau.
He said he was not happy with the dastardly acts of bandits in the state. Elkana noted that no government can achieve optimum performance without peace in the society.
The new police commissioner said he will do all in his power to restore peace in Zamfara State.
“The bandits should know very well that I was not sent to Zamfara State to beg or appease them but to embark on fire for fire operation.”
CP Elkana also commended security operatives for their effort in trying to restore peace in the state.
