The family of the late Mohammed Fawehinmi, Chief Gani Fawehinmi’s first son, has announced his burial programme.
Saheed Fawehinmi, the younger brother of the deceased made this known during a press conference held on Wednesday at Gani Fawehinmi family house, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.
A night of tributes and songs will be held on 25 August, at the Archbishop Vining Cathedral in Ikeja, from 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.
His remains would be interred on Friday, 27 of August, at Gani Fawehinmi compound in Oka, Ondo town, Ondo State.
This will come after a brief funeral service which will be streamed live.
On Sunday, 29 of August, an outing service will be held at the Archbishop Vining Cathedral in Ikeja, Lagos.
The family said all COVID-19 protocols will be followed at all the events.
Mohammed Fawehinmi, Gani’s eldest son died on 11 August, of COVID-19 related complications, the family said.
