Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York, who will leave office on Monday has no property of his own to park to.
The New York Post made the shocking revelation Friday, as U-haul vehicles were seen at the governor’s mansion in Albany to move his things out.
“Cuomo doesn’t have any property in his name, public records show”, the paper reported.
Cuomo’s last private residence was the four-bedroom Mount Kisco abode he shared with his ex-wife Sandra Lee.
But he was said to have moved out in 2019.
The property is now in her name.
The newspaper then speculated he could be squatting with his younger brother Chris, who has a Hamptons retreat.
Cuomo announced his resignation on 10 August.
This followed a damning report released by state Attorney General Letitia James.
The report found that he sexually harassed 11 women, including current or former staffers.
He denied the allegations.
Cuomo was first elected in 2010.
He was re-elected for a third term as governor in 2018 and had announced plans for a fourth term race in 2022.
But allegations of sexual abuse has now blown him out of office.
Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul will serve out his third term, becoming the first female governor of New York
