President Muhammadu Buhari has saluted the Itsekiri nation on the coronation of Tsola Emiko who would be crowned 21st Olu of Warri on Saturday.

The President sent his congratulations in a statement on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

Buhari hailed the kingdom for overcoming issues that arose after the initial nomination of the Olu-designate.

He urged that other matters that would arise after the coronation be amicably resolved in the interest of peace and tranquillity.

The President also charged the new Olu of Warri to use his expertise as a trained political scientist, and management expert, to use his gift and intellect to serve his people.

Buhari noted that he should work to ensure the peaceful disposition of Itsekiris to peace in the Niger Delta region, and the country in general.

The President prayed that Tsola Emiko’s reign would bring peace, progress and prosperity to the Warri kingdom.
