Rivers High court ousts Secondus as PDP chairman

PDP Chairman, Uche Secondus: crisis rocks PDP

Prince Uche Secondus has been ordered by a Rivers High Court to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The order was made today by by Justice O. Gbasah following a suit filed against Secondus and the PDP by some little known members of the party.

The members were identified as Ibeawuchi Ernest Alex, Dennis Nna Amadi, Emmanuel Stephen and Umezirike Onucha.

Gbasah not only directed Secondus to stop parading himself as a member of the PDP, he also barred him from attending or presiding over any meeting of the PDP or any committee of the party at ward, local government or state government.

According to the, Secondus would remain suspended pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

The court ordered the PDP to be served by substituted means.
