Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye housemates, Pere, Yousef, and Boma have reacted to the eviction of their colleague Maria Chike Agueze.
JMK, Sammie and Maria were evicted during the live eviction show on Sunday.
This was announced by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the host of the show, during the live eviction show on Sunday.
The housemates initially put up for possible eviction were: Cross, Maria, Pere, Sammie, Queen and JMK but three housemates were saved as they had the highest number of votes.
Other housemates had been emotional due to the eviction as Michael, Pere and Liquorose were seen crying.
Pere described the evicted housemate, Maria, as the life of the show.
He said this while talking with Yousef and Boma, after
Maria’s eviction came as a shock to her, her fans, and the housemates as her bestie, Liquorose, was in tears after her exit.
“That girl was literally the life of this house,” Pere chipped into Boma and Yousef’s chat about Maria.
Boma asked if he was speaking about Maria and Pere who looked sad and withdrawn replied in the positive.
“I’m not scared for Maria. I’ve worked closely with Maria. I used to work as her deputy,” Boma said.
Yousef said, “Yea, you were close with Maria. She likes you.”
“I was really close with Maria. Yea, I was. I was really close with Maria. I was a big fan of Maria. When you go outside, you’re going to know. ‘Cause, you’re going to know who’s close to you. I’ve told her, I would not carry my okro close to you,” Boma said.
As Pere still looked sad and was quiet, the guys tried to cheer him up to get over Maria’s eviction.
Boma said, “Be strong bro, I know you’re going to feel it.”
Yousef told Pere that he was happy the latter wasn’t evicted as he said, “I’m glad you’re back.”
When approached by Angel, Michael, who was in tears after Maria’s eviction, he said the show is becoming harder than he expected.
“I feel shocked, confused in this house. I know it’s a game but don’t know why I care this much.
“I didn’t know it was going to be this hard,” Michael said.
