Gunmen abduct three Obasanjo workers

Gunmen have kidnapped three persons said to be workers of Obasanjo Holdings, a firm owned by former President, Olusegun Obasanjo.

The workers of the ex-president were kidnapped on Wednesday evening.

They were abducted at Kobape, a community under Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The abductees were accosted while driving on the Kobape road.

The company’s Financial Controller, the Group Auditor, and the Group Store Manager were said to be the victims of the incident.

However, The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the incident.

According to Oyeyemi, the incident happened around 6 pm on Wednesday.

He said, “Yes, the kidnapping happened around 6 pm on Wednesday. There is one Obasanjo farm around the area in Kobape.

“Our men have begun searching for them and we will ensure they are rescued.”
