NCDC rapid response takes COVID-19 preventive message to an Akwa Ibom school

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Friday, said it recorded two more deaths and 337 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

The new cases on Friday represented a a big slump from the 601 cases reported on Thursday.

While active cases are 9,094, the discharged have reached 189,608.

According to the NCDC, 15 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported the 337 new cases.

Related News

Lagos reported more than a third of the cases.

The number of infections till date has risen to 201,294 while the fatality toll now stood at 2,649.
