Sanwo-Olu appoints Vivour-Adeniyi as head of DSVA

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed Mrs Titilola Vivour-Adeniyi as the Executive Secretary of the Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency.

He made the announcement today as he signed the Law establishing the agency.

The law also establishes the Sex Offenders Register.

The new law coincides with the observance of the Domestic and Sexual Violence Awareness Month.

“Today marks a significant day for women in our dear state, and for the men as well”, Sanwo-Olu said.

“Any form of sexual violence is strongly abhorred by us as a state, and as individuals.

“Sexual violence will not be tolerated nor accepted in any way, shape or form.

“Therefore, signing this Law is a testament of what we stand for and stand against”, he said.
