The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Monday topped the grim table of COVID-19 infections in the country, with 121 cases, a sharp increase over the 15 recorded on Sunday..

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said the FCT and 14 states reported a total of 393 cases and six COVID-19 related deaths on Monday.

The national figure also more than double the 168 cases reported on Sunday.

Till date, Nigeria has logged 202,191 confirmed cases of the virus and discharged 190,901.

The death toll stood at 2661 as at Monday.

Active cases stood at 8,629 while the samples tested were 2,997,060.y.
