James Rodriguez completes switch to Qatar’s Al Rayyan

Colombia international James Rodriguez has completed his loan switch from Everton to Qatari club Al Rayyan.

The news was announced by Fabrizio Romano, who tweeted: “James Rodriguez joins Al Rayyan from Everton.

“Agreement reached and confirmed! Official teaser video already released from Qatari club. Salary payment agreed with #EFC board. #JamesRodriguez.

“Medical already completed. James now set to leave European football.”

Rodriguez, 30, has been frozen out by Everton coach Rafa Benitez, who replaced Carlo Ancelotti.

The Colombian and ex-Madrid player and is yet to make a single appearance for Everton this season.
