Jazzman Olofin, onetime X Appeal band member has upped the ante with the release of yet another hip-hop banger titled Friends in collaboration with a movie star — Gabriel Afolayan.

Friends is a hiphop song seasoned and flavoured with highlife. The feel-good-song dedicates lines and hook to the themes of friendship, togetherness and peaceful coexistence.

Jazzman and Gabriel sing about being there to support each other during good or bad times, especially the need to lift each other’s spirit up in low times.

It was produced by Ex’o, Mixed and Mastered by MarqaiMixx.

According to the management, “‘Friends’ is a song you want to listen to for the vibe and hip hop culture”.

“He’s basically been doing music in his own pace — for the culture of hiphop. You will be shocked to know the number of songs you are yet to listen to from Jazzman.”

His management, Jazzman Olofin Entertainment, agrees that their talented artiste has been doing music all the while and they have striven to show for it. “Little wonder the musician is getting set to follow this recent release with an EP.’

Jazzman’s last song Sugarella, released in 2019, was slowed down by the 2020 pandemic. The Agege born, real name Olumuyiwa Olofinkuade Olajide, is now ready to push and promote his works.

Noteworthy is that Jazzman remains one of the brightest stars of the Kennis Music, Corporate Pictures and Storm Records era.

In the days and times of Ruggedman, Blackky, Julius Agwu, Sasha, Dare Art Alade, GT. Guitarman, Paul Play Dairo, Adewale Ayuba, Musiliu Haruna Ishola and many more, he’s worked with all the aforementioned artistes and more.

Ediale Kingsley, a film maker and publicist, has noted that Jazzman Olofin would do perfectly as a super villain in Nollywood.

He’s got the hip hop vibe, charisma and look. Something we see in King Of Boys’ Reminisce and Illbliss as they both played and ‘killed’ their roles as gangsters.
