Covid-19: NCDC registers 90 additional infections, 2 deaths

NCDC urges workers to be vigilant against Diphtheria outbreak

Nigeria recorded two new COVID-19 deaths on Thursday as the death toll crept to 2,668, the NCDC announced.

According to NCDC data, 17 states accounted for the 433 cases logged for the day. Overall confirmed cases have now jumped to 203,514.

The Federal Capital of Abuja led the infections chart, recording 191 cases and beating Lagos, which logged 79 cases.

Anambra in eastern Nigeria also reported 63 cases.

Active cases stood at 8988, while the discharged rose to 191,950.
