How Buhari, Nigerians celebrated 61st Independence in Abuja (Colourful photos)

It was a colourful moment on Friday as President Muhammadu Buhari and other Nigerians celebrated  the nation’s 61st Independence anniversary in Abuja.

The venue was the Eagles Square where the parade and cultural troupes were on display.

Dignitaries and others were at the parade group where Buhari took the salute and inspected the guard of honour.

At the event were former President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan; Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Senate President, Dr. Ahmad Lawan; Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, among others.

There were various cultural display to thrill the audience and make the day memorable.
