Ex-BBNaija housemate, Cross has revealed that he used to be a professional footballer before he joined the reality TV show.
He said this during an interview on Wednesday as he revealed that he abandoned his football career after he had a bad injury and damaged his knee.
“I was an athlete when I was growing up. I liked football. I used to play a lot but I destroyed a part of my right knee.
“Because of that, I stopped playing professionally. I had to stop for a while
“Then I realised I had a lot of energy still in me and I could still do a lot of physical activities, he said.
The reality star, whose full name is Ikechukwu Sunday Cross Okonkwo, said he played as a forward during his soccer days for some small clubs in the UK.
He said he was nicknamed ‘Terminator’ because he was skilful, fast and strong.
He revealed that after he fixed his knee, he returned to the gym to train people in Abuja.
Cross said that was fun for him.
