Super Eagle and Rangers defender, Leon Balogun has said that the team would certainly beat Central African Republic, in today’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers game.
He spoke at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos, venue of the match.
The 33-year-old defender said Eagles would not underrate their opponents, adding that their objective ahead of every game is to win.
“Nigerians should expect a win from the team, no need to talk too much. You hear our officials talk about wanting us to get to the top and the whole team agrees with that.
“That should be the objective and we are working hard in every training session”, he said.
“We are going to put in the effort to win that game and we will assess the outcome before the away game and then we access again.
“I expect us to win not because it’s easy, but that’s what our motive should be, we play to win,” Balogun said.
