The autopsy report of the death of Gabby Petito, the Long Island native is out and showed that her cause of death was by strangulation.

By inference, the person of interest, the main suspect Brian Laundrie, her so-called fiance killed her by strangulation.

Coroner Brent Blue of Teton County, Wyoming revealed Gabby Petito’s cause of death today.

Blue revealed during a virtual press conference that DNA samples were taken by law enforcement and that the body was outside for three or four weeks.

“By Wyoming state statue only the cause and manner of death are released,” Brent Blue said in a livestreamed press conference.

Petito, 22, disappeared while on a cross-country trip with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie.

She was found dead on Sept. 19 at a campground at the Bridges-Teton National Forest in Wyoming — nearly three weeks after Laundrie returned home without her.

Blue declared Petito’s death a homicide but had not revealed the cause of death until now.

Laundrie has been missing since Sept. 17, four days after he went for a hike at the 25,000-acre Carlton Reserve.

He never returned.

The FBI has since led a massive manhunt for the 23-year-old, focusing on the swampy reserve but pursuing reported sightings as far off as the Appalachian Train near the North Carolina/Tennessee border.

Petito’s disappearance and death has captivated the U.S. nation, with daily headlines on the case and thousands of supporters following the case on social media.
