Yakuzak taking over from Olusegun Awolowo

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Dr Ezra Yakusak as Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC).

The appointment takes effect from 27 November.

Yakusak, the Director, Policy and Strategy of the council, will succeed Olusegun Awolowo, who has been at the helms since 2013.

Yakusak’s appointment is for an initial term of four years in accordance with the provision of Section 7 (1) of the NEPC (Establishment) Act, 1987.

He holds a PhD in commercial law from the Ahmadu Bello University.

He had also served as Secretary to the Governing Board of the Council.
