President Muhammadu Buhari and Pastor Tunde Bakare, his running mate in 2011 election have met in Aso Rock.
It is expected the two would discuss their differences, following the series of criticism from Bakare, while on the pulpit.
Bakare is the Serving Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church in Lagos.
In February this year, Bakare said Buhari has disappointed Nigerians by not meeting the expectations they had when they elected him to office in 2015.
“As far as I know and I have said it before, the expectations of Nigerians have not been met and so, therefore there is a feeling of disappointment everywhere.”
In a viral video in July, he intensified his criticism in a viral video in which he virtually declared a parting of ways with Buhari..
He said he would launch a National Movement, with the slogan, Nigeria for Nigerians.
He said the movement would deliver Nigerians from Buhari’s tyranny.
Declaring that it’s now a fight to finish with the Buhari government, Bakare reminded Buhari that he is today the commander-in-chief because Nigerians put him there.
“You are C-I-C of nothing unless the people put you there”, he said.
The pastor appeared to have had a rethink as he is yet to float the national movement.
