British MP David Amess stabbed multiple times by knifeman

British conservative MP Sir David Amess, has been stabbed many times by a knifeman, while holding a constituency meeting on Friday at Belfairs Methodist Church in Leigh-on-Sea.

Reports by British media said the police have arrested the attacker and the Mp was receiving treatment at the scene.

Amess, 69, represents Southend West.

The knifeman reportedly ran into the building, wielding a knife before attacking the veteran politician.

Horrified constituents waiting to see him and staff witnessed the stabbing and quickly called police who rushed to the scene, Mail Online reported.
